Product information "Organic Cashews"

Premium BIO Cashews

The cashew is the perfect indulgence nut! Because the cashew is versatile, protein-rich and convinces with a mild-sweet taste. You can integrate the delicious nut into your diet in different forms and varieties: whether as a creamy nut puree, in a spicy curry or as a snack for in between!

Where does the cashew nut come from?

The cashew nut has its Origin in Brazil, there it grows on cashew trees about 15 meters high. Strictly speaking, cashews are not nuts, but kernels. Because the cashew tree forms pear shaped cashew apples, at the lower end of which the cashew kernels grow. Accordingly, they are stone fruit from a botanical point of view. Meanwhile, the cashew tree is also native to India and many countries in Africa, where cashew apples are even processed into juice, jam or liquor. In our country, however, only the cashew kernel enjoys great popularity and is sold in many different forms and dishes.

BIO Cashews: What's in the healthy nut?

Compared to other nuts, the cashew nut is low in fat and therefore lower in calories. As Magnesium and phosphorus supplier it contains important minerals for our body as well as lots of tryptophan, which has a positive influence on our mood, performance and well-being. FAQ

Questions?
